Масленица — один из древнейших праздников, сохранившихся в современном календаре еще со времен языческой Руси. Первый день Масленичной недели в отделении дневного пребывания начался с тематической беседы и просмотра презентации «Широкая Масленица». Вниманию отдыхающих представлена история праздника, значение каждого дня праздничной недели. Ветераны пели песни и частушки о Масленице, а так же узнали семь главных блюд, приносящих достаток в дом. В завершении встречи наступил приятный для всех момент — накрытый стол с ароматными блинчиками, душистым медом и клюквенным вареньем. Все это было приготовлено руками самих отдыхающих.
Накануне 8 Марта группа участников «ветеранского дворика» в очередной раз выехала на прогулку со скандинавскими палочками. Мероприятие выпало на второй день Масленичной недели, который называется «Разгуляй». Вот и наши ветераны не стали отступать от традиции — устроили веселые и задорные межкомандные соревнования: тянули канат, прыгали в мешках, катались с горки, лепили снеговика. Как всегда, победила, дружба!
